Apply heat to the end of the inner lining tube with the flame of a lighter to form a collar.  Fix into a tube vice and start tying by applying the tying thread onto inner lining tube.

Attach the first arctic fox wing and add few strands of copper coloured flash fibers either side of the Artic Fox wing.

Attach a throat hackle from arctic fox body hair. You may find it easier to attach this by rotating the vice such that the bottom of the salmon tube is positioned on top.

Trim of the excess Artic Fox from the head. This is best done with a sharp scalpel or modeling knife as you can cut the hair close to the thread leaving less build up.  Whip finish a neat head and apply few drops of Varnish to seal.

Slide a  cone head onto the inner tube and, trim off excess tube leaving 2-3mm projecting outside the cone head. Form a collar by applying heat into the plastic tube with a lighter. Add hook mounting tube and the fly is finished as above.
