We at CudaFly have been approached by the owners of http://flytyingcomp.co.cc/ to sponsor their fly tying competitions. We are therefore delighted to accept and will be the sponsor of all their tying competitions to come. Initially we have proposed that the prizes will total £100 per catagory, so it is definately worth tying a few patterns.

Thank you for your interest in this fly tying competition. It has been designed as a fun event for people who enjoy the competitive side of fly dressing.

There are 2 categories to choose from, Salmon or Trout flies. It is possible to enter both categories.

For each category there will be a list of flies to select from, you must tie 2 of your chosen fly.

There will be 3 awards, each receiving a prize. The top 10 runners up will receive an award certificate.

Salmon Category: Fully Dressed - Open
For this category any pattern can be tied. A full description of the fly pattern should be included. You should submit 2 flies of the same pattern for this category. No hair wings allowed.

Trout Category:
For this category you should select 1 pattern from the list below and submit 2 flies. A full description of the fly pattern should be included.
1) Silver Invicta (wet)
2) Alexandra (wet)
3) Black Pennell (wet)
4) Greenwells Glory (dry)
