I have added two new great patterns to the CudaFly website. The first is the Body Stretch Buzzer STROUT20 http://www.cudafly.co.uk/acatalog/Bo..._STROUT20.html
as pictured above which sells for £0.95. When tying the thread has been placed in really open turns on the body and when combined with stretching the body stretch and coats of liquid glass gives the buzzer a really translucent feel. This fly as all buzzers should be fishied slowly
The second pattern Jig Eyed Hares Ear Caddis STROUT19 http://www.cudafly.co.uk/acatalog/Ji...ar_Caddis.html
is a real favourite of mine when fishing for grayling on the river dee in north Wales. This fly is tied on a size 14 Jiri Klima eyed jig hook which fishes the fly away from the river bed. This makes it an ideal point fly when Czech Nymphing.
